Our Team Utah Neurosciences Research, after several challenges and missed turns, finished RAAM in fifth place in 6 days 21 hours. We successfully passed over ten teams including 4 in our division to move from 9th place to 5th, averaging over 18 mph (excluding the 15 hour layover in Taos, on-bike speed was close to 20 mph). Much of the time was made up in head winds and the West Virginia mountains.
